With the pre-orders activated well ahead of any official announcement, it wasn't long before the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro made a formal debut. That's right, Xiaomi's unveiled the Mi 13 and 13 Pro in full glory after a short delay. Alongside, the chain has broken out Redmi Buds 4, Watch S1 Pro, and MIUI 14 (Mi's official Android 13).

The successors of Mi 12 and Mi 12 Pro bear different screen sizes, not only that, with distinct design languages this time. Xiaomi 13 Pro has a traditional chamfered build customary to flagship designs. Meanwhile, Vanilla Xiaomi 13 has adopted the modern-day trend of a flat slab-like design with upright edges.

Internal stats, apart from the screen, are almost identical on each set — Xiaomi 13 Pro with curved-screen bears a 6.73-inch QHD+ display. Base Xiaomi 13 with flat screen uses FHD+ resolution on a 6.36-inch AMOLED display. A 120Hz refresh rate, 1,900 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG support are standard on each phone.

The pair qualifies for IP68 dust and water protection. Furthermore, the Latest Xiaomi 5G mobile phones are equipped with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and nano-skin technology, making cleaning the back panel easier. The pair is slightly distinct when it comes to photography.

The vanilla Xiaomi 13 features triple rear cameras, a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. On the other hand, users will find Xiaomi 13 Pro with triple 50MP cameras — primary, ultra-wide, and telephoto. Their screens have 16MP selfie cameras embedded in them. The sensors are Leica-tuned for enhanced imaging quality.

On the inside, the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a liquid cooling solution for heat dissipation. Respectively, Mi 13 and 13 Pro use 4,500mAh and 4,820mAh cells with support for 67W and 120W plug. They come with 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charge.

There are various connectivity options on the Xiaomi 13 series devices, including 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, and USB C. They run MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.

The series features custom colors in limited editions (12+512GB); Flame Red, Sapphire Blue, Hurricane Yellow, Jungle Green, and Cement Gray. Standard colors on both models include White, Black, Green, and Light Blue. Xiaomi 13 starts at 8+128GB at 574$ (~130,000 PKR). Xiaomi 13 Pro also starts at 8+128GB but costs $718 (~162,000 PKR).
