Vivo's mid-range smartphone lineup continues to expand, with the latest being “Vivo Y77t,”  launched yesterday in China. The phone shockingly resembles the previously unveiled Y78 5G, sharing nearly identical specifications while embracing a more budget-friendly positioning.

At the forefront of the Y77t is its expansive 6.64-inch LCD screen, boasting a vibrant FHD+ resolution and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. The phone's design showcases a center-aligned punch-hole cutout, contributing to a remarkable 91.06 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The rear gradient panel houses a distinctive square camera module, while the fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button offers security and quick accessibility. By default, the device runs Android 13 with the latest Origin OS 3 UI exclusive to China.

In the photography department, the Vivo Y77t doesn't disappoint. Equipped with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth lens, the dual rear cameras capture moments with clarity and depth. On the front of the latest Y Vivo mobile, an 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the handset features a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, which essentially stands as a rebranded version of the Dimensity 930. Accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the Y77t ensures smooth multitasking and ample space for media storage.

The Y77t's robust 5,000mAh battery fuels its operations with the added convenience of 44W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G support, WiFi, Bluetooth, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. With availability in Phoenix Gold, Black, and Jade Green colorways, the device starts at CNY 1,399 (~$192/PKR 56,000) for the 8+256Gigs variant.
