With its powerful MTK chip, long-lasting battery, and slender flat-frame design, Vivo Y22 offers solid value for money. It appeared as a global device back in September and has been deployed to multiple countries ever since. According to an internally sourced report, Pakistan might be next on Y22's debut roster.

Expected to arrive in two beautiful finishes, Starlite Blue and Metaverse Green, Vivo Y22 will bring the trendy flat-frame build. It will run Android 12 x FuntouchOS 12 out of the box, boosted by a MediaTek Helio G85 chip.

With IP54 protection, the Vivo Y22 boasts a sleek flat-rim design and a slightly raised camera island. The pair of lenses house a 50MP Wide Alpha and 2MP Macro lens. The glossy dark accent on the camera plate blends nicely with the Y22's primary colors.

No word on the Vivo smartphone price yet. Towards the front, Vivo Y22 carries an 8MP selfie camera built into a drop-notch. The screen is 2.5D curved and brings a 6.55-inch IPS panel capped at a 720p resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Due to the 82.4% screen-to-body ratio, the bezels are relatively chunky.

For added privacy and security, the Vivo Y22 comes with a side-mounted thumbprint scanner. Hooked to a 5000mAh battery, it features 18W fast charging, 4GB + 4GB Extended RAM for lag-free multitasking, and bears 64Gigs of expandable storage.

Under Y22's deck lies a gaming-centric Helio G85 SoC. It's a 12nm octa-core silicon bundled with Mali-G52 GPU. Two of the performance cores clock the silicon at 2.0GHz, while the rest of the efficiency cores runs at 1.8GHz. In addition, it brings dual SIM standby, expandable RAM & storage, striking Crystalline Mate back panel with color-shifting technology. The Y22 is expected to carry a similar retail tag as the Vivo Y21 price in Pakistan.
