Vivo Y19s Pro has finally gone official, and it’s here to join the standard Vivo Y19s that was released back in November 2024. The Pro variant surpasses the original in multiple categories. It has a bigger battery, faster charging, and, more importantly, a newer operating system. Here’s a full rundown of what the Y19s Pro has to offer.
There’s a 6.68” IPS LCD on the front with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate that should provide smooth visuals. The panel scores 83% NTSC color gamut and lights up with 1000 nits of brightness in certain use cases. Vivo Y19s Pro should have decent readability under the sun.
The screen has a punch-hole cutout, and inside lies a 5 MP camera for selfies. There’s only a single usable lens on the back with the primary 50 MP sensor. It’s joined by a secondary 0.08 MP lens for assistance. On paper, this is a modest camera setup.
It may not have the best camera within the price segment, but it certainly has an impressive battery. Vivo new budget phone brings a huge 6000mAh cell that’s guaranteed to last you a day and a half on a single charge with light usage. What’s even more interesting is the phone’s 44W fast charging support.
Put against the old Vivo Y19s with a 5500mAh cell x 15W charging, the newcomer certainly deserves the Pro moniker. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the phone’s internals. Vivo Y19s Pro has the same Unisoc T612 SoC that was used back in November for the vanilla Y19s.
Still, the maximum RAM has been increased to 8GB, and the storage bumped up to 256GB, which should slightly increase the performance. The phone scores Android 15 x FunTouch OS 15 straight out of the box. There’s LTE support, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm Audio Jack.
It doesn’t have NFC, but features like dual SIM Voice over LTE, dual-band WiFi, and stereo speakers do exist on this device. The Vivo Y19s Pro also brings top-notch durability: MIL-STD-810H shockproof design and IP64 rating against dust and water.
Vivo Y19s Pro has gone official in Malaysia and Bangladesh with three memory trims. The base configuration has 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, which costs around $128 (~PKR 36,000). Its 6GB + 128GB option is priced at around $130 (~PKR 39,000). There’s an additional 8GB + 256GB option that’s exclusive to Malaysia and costs roughly $145 (~PKR 41,000).
