Vivo Y19s Pro was unveiled in Malaysia and Bangladesh just a few weeks ago. As suspected, the company didn’t take long to introduce this device to the Pakistani market. It has a massive battery, an anti-drop design, and up to 12GB of virtually expanded RAM, all available at a very affordable price tag. This is everything you need to know about Vivo Y19s Pro.
This newcomer is built around a 6.68” IPS display. It’s only HD+ in terms of resolution, but it does have a fast 90Hz refresh rate that should provide smooth visuals. The panel scores 83% NTSC color gamut and lights up with 1000 nits of brightness. Vivo Y19s Pro is definitely an option to consider if you want high readability under the sun.
That very same screen has a punch-hole cutout, and inside lies a 5 MP camera for selfies. It’s an entry-level device at the end of the day, so there’s only a single usable lens on the back with a primary 50 MP sensor. The other lens is only there for support as an auxiliary 0.08MP unit.
Vivo latest budget phone may not have the best camera in the game, but it certainly has one of the biggest batteries. It brings a huge 6000mAh power pack, which is almost guaranteed to last you a day and a half on a single charge with light usage. And when you run out of juice, the phone’s 44W fast charging should provide a decent backup
Looking at the old Vivo Y19s with a 5500mAh cell and measly 15W charging, the newcomer certainly deserves the Pro moniker. Sadly, the same cannot be said about its performance. Vivo Y19s Pro has the same Unisoc T612 SoC that was used for vanilla Y19s, so it might be a bit sluggish in certain tasks.
The company did bump up the physical RAM to 8GB for better multitasking and also increased the internal storage by 128GB. The phone scores Android 15 x FunTouch OS 15 straight out of the box. There’s the usual LTE support, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm Audio Jack on it as well.
Vivo Y19s Pro also has features like dual SIM Voice over LTE, dual-band WiFi, and stereo speakers. It brings an MIL-STD-810H shockproof design and an IP64 rating against dust and water. The Y19s Pro will offer buyers 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM options, all tied with 128GB storage. So far, just the 6/128GB variant has been deployed, and it only costs Rs 43,999 in Pakistan.
