Vivo has quietly rolled out its latest Y-series entrant, Vivo Y17s, in Singapore. This budget-friendly marvel combines top-notch features, from its teardrop-notched display to a versatile camera system, offering plenty of bang for the buck. Here’s an overview of its features.

The Y17s sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen, serving an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The display isn't just about size; it also packs a 60Hz refresh rate, a vibrant 83% NTSC color gamut, and up to 840 nits of brightness. With a pixel density of 269 ppi, the phone promises crisp visuals.

In the photography department, the device pulls no punches. Outfitted with an 8MP selfie camera up front, the Y17s also boasts a 50MP primary lens and a 2MP bokeh sensor on the flip side, making it a versatile tool for selfie addicts and shutterbugs alike.

Regarding its internals, the Y17s propels ahead with MediaTek's Helio G85 chipset, flanking 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage on the side. For additional storage, a dedicated microSD card slot has got you covered. The latest Vivo Y model runs on Android 13, layered with Vivo's FunTouch OS 13.

As for the price and availability, retailing at SGD 199 (~$146/PKR 43,000), the Vivo Y17s will be available in eye-catching Glitter Purple and Forest Green colorways. The device is also slated to launch in other Asian markets, likely on the horizon for the Pakistani market.
