Vivo X300 Ultra More Camera Details Leak with Focus on Color Accuracy

The only phone with a dual 200MP camera setup is on the way. Vivo X300 Ultra is almost ready to join the series, though we can only tell you what we’ve been hearing about it on the internet. A new leak today shared a bit more information about the phone’s camera setup.

The leak is from Digital Chat Station, so we know it’s credible enough to be reported. The X300 Ultra’s camera setup apparently has more color accuracy than any other version before it. The post on Weibo claims that this new Ultra flagship would have a multispectral sensor.

It’s possible that the added sensor would boost the color accuracy on photos and across videos. The leaker said this is a custom 5MP multispectral sensor. It has a large size, and there are high number of color channels built in.

More than just color accuracy, the information from this sensor will actually help improve the skin tones, as well as white balance. Even night photos and HDR will be able to take advantage of the new 5MP multispectral sensor. The other details about the Vivo new Ultra mobile camera were leaked elsewhere.

There’s possibly a 200MP Main shooter on the Vivo X300 Ultra. It may have a non-zoom 35mm focal length. The sensor could be Sony LYT 901. It’s said that there’s a second 200MP sensor on the phone. This will be a 200MP sensor under the periscope telephoto lens.

That 200MP Main LYT 901 sensor won’t be an ordinary camera system. There’s a chance that it will have a continuous zoom from 35mm to 85mm. Xiaomi 17 Ultra also has continuous zoom, but this one is different. Xiaomi built the continuous optical zoom on the periscope 200MP camera. But Vivo has it on the Main camera.

There’s always a possibility that the continuous zoom function will cause the sensor sizes to grow abnormally. The X300 Ultra not only has a Main 200MP, but also a 200MP periscope telephoto in a very tight space. There’s also a 50MP ultrawide that will need its own space on the circuit module. They might push the phone out in Q1 2026. We’ll soon know how they’ve engineered the lens setup.
