Vivo X300 FE made its debut in April, but the phone’s Pakistani launch took months to plan. They finally unveiled the FE in Pakistan today, on July 17th. Pre-orders start from tomorrow, and they'll remain open till 24th July. It’s a flagship device with a small screen and a big battery, but more importantly, it has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 inside.
The chip’s what lends it the flagship status. SD 8 Gen 5 is the next best SoC to the SD 8 Elite Gen 5. The boost clock speed on the Vivo X300 FE is 3.8 GHz, and the GPU is Adreno 829. OriginOS 6 is the default system here with Android 16, and the company has committed to 5 OS updates and 7 years of security updates.
It’s a horizontal camera module, not circular like its siblings, and they’ve put three lenses on it. All the glare and internal reflections are cleaned up by ZEISS’s T* lens coating. The main sensor is just a 50MP unit (1/1.56”). Then comes another 50MP unit (1/1.95”) for the telephoto zoom shots. But that can be scaled with the optional super telephoto accessory.
You see three cameras on the back of Vivo latest FE model. The third one is actually an 8MP ultrawide lens. And they’ve put a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor in the screen punch hole for selfies. The rear cameras shoot at 8K 30 FPS or 4K 120 FPS, and the front is limited to standard 4K.
The option unveiled in Pakistan has 12GB RAM, by the way. And it teams up with UFS 4.1 256GB base storage. A metal frame houses all the components here, rated IP68 and IP69, so it’s fully waterproof as well. The X300 FE has the best screen for its form factor.
It’s a compact device, and the screen is only 6.31”. It is an AMOLED panel, though with an LTPO 1-120 Hz refresh rate, and the resolution is 1.5K (1216 x 2640 pixels). 5000 nits peak brightness with 2160Hz PWM dimming and HDR10+ are available on this AMOLED display.
Everything's wired to a 6500mAh Si/C cell for power, and there’s 90W fast charging backup for the phone. Vivo X300 FE can also do 40W wireless charging. WiFi 7 is supported, you have dual speakers, and the fingerprint reader is ultrasonic. Rs. 269,999 is the official price tag for Vivo X300 FE in Pakistan for the 12/256GB trim.
