The V series will include an Elite version from here on out. The company has officially begun teasing the Vivo V70 Elite and V70, and there’s now an official microsite where their specs are prominently listed. A few details are still hidden, though. This duo will launch between February 16 and 19.
Vivo just added a promo page to share the highlights of the V70 and V70 Elite with the public. It’s a unified page at the moment, and no separate listings were seen for the Vivo V70 and Elite. So it’s hard to tell which specs belong to which device. That will be cleared in time, we presume.
There’s one difference we know from earlier certifications. Vivo V70 Elite is built around a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Again, that’s a more premium model. And then comes the vanilla Vivo New 5G mobile with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. We’ll talk about the rest of the specs in terms of “series,” not individual devices.
The Vivo V70 lineup will have LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Those are the fastest standards in the midrange, where these Vivo devices are positioned. Each device will grab Android 16 and Origin OS 6. The FunTouch is no longer in the picture, it seems.
There’s going to be a 6.59” Ultra clear OLED on the V70 series, and the brightness hits 5,000 nits on that panel. It’s a 1.5K resolution 120Hz screen, by the way. There’s also a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader here, and 3D Anti-Spoofing tech will be used to secure your finger impression.
The punch hole on this OLED is actually home to a 50MP selfie unit. The series will have all its cameras optimized by ZEISS. We are talking about a 50MP main unit and a 50MP Night Telephoto. An alleged 8MP ultrawide unit is also part of the setup.
And just to be clear, the V70 series will record at 4K 60 and 30 FPS in HDR. There’s a 6,500 mAh battery and 90W fast charging. The chassis is rated IP69. The V70 Elite is presumed to have an X Linear Haptic motor. We’ll share the individualized specs once the company has listed the V70 and V70 Elite separately. Keep watching the news for updates.
