Vivo V60 Lite debuted just a few days ago, and we are already seeing signs of future Vivo V70 Lite in the works. Vivo cycles through its devices every six months, so the timeline is pretty short until the next release. The V70 Lite just cleared its Bluetooth SIG certification. Here’s what we have on this newcomer so far.
The Bluetooth SIG database doesn’t reveal much about the phone. We do get confirmation of its model number, which seems to be “V2549.” That same number has been spotted before on the USA’s FCC records. The database had more than a few details about Vivo V70 Lite.
The half-yearly cycle means Vivo should unveil the next V70 Lite sometime in late February or March 2026. These certifications have appeared quite early, which is usually not the case. Nevertheless, we can confirm from the details they provided that V70 Lite has 4G connectivity and dual-band WiFi.
The version spotted on the FCC database might use 8GB RAM with 256GB storage — nothing surprising there. Of course, we’ll have Bluetooth connection on this Vivo 4G new mobile, but the exact version couldn’t be pinpointed. It may operate on BR + EDR + LE modes.
The list of upgrades will be short, seeing how narrow the development window is for V70 Lite. That means it will mostly stick to the root, in theory. The current V60 Lite 4G is a decent 6.77” 120Hz AMOLED package with a massive 6500mAh battery and 90W fast charging.
This V60 Lite has a halfway decent IP65 waterproof rating and a military-grade shockproof design. This one runs on Android 15. We may see an updated Android version on the V70 Lite. The company wants to switch to Origin OS 6 in the global market and could discontinue the FunTouch OS by the time V70 Lite reaches the stores.
The Vivo V60 Lite model doesn’t have the ZEISS treatment for the cameras, but the image quality is still pretty sharp. The Main lens on the back is 50MP. We have an 8MP ultrawide shooter right below. A 32MP selfie shooter lives in the screen punch hole. This hardware is already pretty decent. With a few more upgrades, Vivo is looking at yet another hit with the Vivo V70 Lite.
