Vivo V60 Lite 5G is on the way, about to join the standard V60 model that arrived in August. This newcomer has already been certified in multiple regions, so the launch should be right around the corner. In the days leading up to it, we have found this handset in numerous leaks, and the latest one claims to expose V60 Lite’s specs and design.
This device will come in two flavors: a 5G and 4G LTE. The one we talk about in today’s leak is the V60 Lite 5G. With that out of the way, let’s start with the renders sourced from an exclusive report by PassionateGeekz. The V60 Lite tries to mimic the design of the V60, but falls short.
It feels less premium with thicker borders around the display, a taller aspect ratio, and smaller lenses. The standard version had three cameras, but the Lite demotes it to a dual lens system. Also, this V60 Lite phone has a flat design with no chamfered edges. By all accounts, it falls in the lower midrange segment.
The publication also revealed some specs, and apparently, Vivo new 5G mobile’s display is an amazing 6.7” AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its brightness is well above the typical range at 3000 nits, and Vivo seems to have installed a Dimensity 7300 chip on this phone.
These details are verified by Geekbench, which gave this device 939 and 2527 points in single and multicore tests. Those numbers are appropriate for a Dimensity 7300 chip with 8GB RAM combo. The same phone was tested again by Geekbench, but with the 4G Snapdragon 685 chip.
Sadly, the V60 Lite 4G loses half of its raw power with the swapped chipset. The old SD 685 (paired with 8GB RAM) only yields 467 and 1536 points on the tests. On either version of this phone, you should expect the V60 Lite’s camera hardware to be evenly matched.
The report claims V60 Lite has a 50MP main + 2MP assistive lens on the back. There’s a 32MP selfie unit on the punch hole. It bags the year-old Android 15 system and FunTouch OS skin in the global market. We even have an IP69 rating on this new handset that parallels the standard V60. Since it has already passed SIRIM and EEC certifications, the launch is expected soon. Keep watching the news for updates.
