The Vivo T1 series is a new budget line of phones from Vivo. It debuted as a China-first lineup last year. And Vivo is only now rolling it out to the global market. Per the official promos, the T1 series will first land in Malaysia. And then head on to other Asian countries, perhaps including Pakistan.

The international launch of the Vivo T1 series is slated for April 25, 2022. It presumably features the T1 5G, which debuted in February this year. But the teasers include a new phone too. It’s not an original T series model, but a rehash of the Vivo S15e (an upcoming phone launching in China around the same time.)

We’ll briefly review what the Vivo T1 5G has to offer. The phone has a trendy, sharp-edge design available in Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy colors. We find a 6.58” IPS LCD on the front, the same as the Vivo Y21T. It peaks at 1080P resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo has housed a 16MP inside the screen notch.

The rear camera is a cluster of 50MP wide and two 2MP macro and portrait shooters. The upcoming addition to the Vivo price list runs on a 5000 mAh battery and the budget Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It’s a modern 6nm 5G chip with max clock speeds of 2.2GHz. Android 11 x FunTouchOS and 18W Flash Charging power the Vivo T1 5G. Plus, you get up to 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage.

Vivo S15e is an upper mid-range phone. Its 4700 mAH battery runs on lightning-fast 66W charging. Exynos 1080 handles all number-crunching, supported by 8GB of memory and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The display is a 6.4” 1080P AMOLED peaking at 90Hz in refresh rate. Lastly, its rear camera features 50MP wide, 13MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro lenses.
