Vivo T1 series is a new line of budget phones from the Chinese phone maker. It was introduced as a China-first series earlier this year. But Vivo is preparing for a global launch now. Promos and microsites teasing its arrival are already up on Vivo’s website and social media. The series features the Vivo T1 Pro and the T1 44W.

Vivo T1 44W is a sequel edition of the Vivo T1 5G, already available in countries like India. The ‘44W’ moniker supposedly references the phone’s charging power. The strange naming choice aside, the Vivo T1 44W doesn’t even support 44W charging, and its charging speed peaks at 18W.

The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chip and a 5000 mAh cell. Presumably, the Vivo T1 44W’s display is an AMOLED panel. But other features remain a mystery for now.

However, the reported leaks for the Pro edition of the Latest Vivo T mobile are far more revealing. Its specified chipset is the mid-range Snapdragon 778G. The phone supports super-fast 66W rapid charging. And has an eight-layer cooling system to keep the battery from overheating.

Vivo T1 Pro’s display is an AMOLED that peaks at a flagship-grade 1300 nits of brightness. And the primary camera has a 64MP image sensor behind it, optimized for low light. Rumor has it the Pro model will be offered in 6GB/8GB and 128GB/256GB memory and storage variants. FunTouchOS x Android 12 runs on both T1 phones, and we’ll learn more when they officially launch in May.
