Vivo S15 Pro Certified Before the Official Announcement; Listing Uncovers Core Specs

The rollout of Vivo’s latest premium mid-range lineup, the Vivo S15 series, began with the Vivo S15e last month. It’s the more budget-friendly edition. But the higher-end Vivo S15 Pro is also in the pipeline. Although Vivo has yet to announce the phone officially, the phone maker has secured a product certification for the S15 Pro (which details its specs and features.)


You can find the public listing for the Vivo S15 Pro under the model number “V2203A” on the Chinese TENNA database. Per the documentation, the phone features a 6.62” screen, a 4500 mAh battery, and a casing 7.99mm thick. The phone leaker Digital Chat Station supplemented these specs.

The tipster reports that the 6.62” is an AMOLED panel that peaks at 1080P in resolution and refreshes at 120Hz. It’s all powered by the flagship Snapdragon 870 platform. For our readers out of the loop, the Snapdragon 870 is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865+ from two generations back.


The chip of the Vivo S new model is hooked up to a 4500 mAh battery. The S15 Pro also supports 66W Flash Charge — up from 44W in the S12 Pro. Lastly, it packs a 64MP image sensor behind its primary camera.

In related news, a mystery Vivo phone was also certified in China under the model number “V2207A.” It has a 6.56” OLED, 1080P resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. The engine is the MediaTek Dimensity 8100, powered by a 4500 mAh cell and 80W supercharging. Its main camera is 50MP. We don’t have previews for either phone. But their official debuts should be right around the corner.
