Teno Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition Introduced with BMW-fashioned Design & Eccentric Features

In collaboration with BMW's group of Designworks, Tecno unveiled a special edition of Spark 9 Pro yesterday. The newcomer has bold and overstated tones giving it a sporty look, hence its name, Spark 9 Pro Sport Edition. Let's see what this new Sport Tecno mobile offers.

Youth, particularly those with an appreciation for variety in the automobile industry, is the target market for the Tecno Spark 9 Pro SE. The accents on this phone reminisce the design featured in most BMW edition phones from the Vivo IQOO series. The phone presents an Icy crystalline theme with its light and dark blue accents on a snowy white chassis.

Andre De Salis, the Creative Director at Designworks, tributes to Tecno by saying, "Working with a company like Tecno is inspiring, as it allows us to focus on another user experience – the smartphone. While there is a difference in scale, something smartphones and cars have in common is that they are extremely personal and are relied on daily by their users, and they are also a means of personal expression."

While the design preaches premium, the specs on the Tecno Spark 9 Pro SE are rather basic. The display setup on 9 Pro SE is rather generic, consisting of a run-of-the-mill FHD+ 1080p resolution on a 6.6-inch IPS LCD rounded off with chunky black bezels and a drop notch. One good thing, though, is that the screen primes at a fluid 90Hz refresh rate.

The new Spark Sports Edition uses MediaTek's Helio G85 processor to do all the processing, which isn't the most sophisticated — paired with 4GB RAM and 128Gigs storage, the phone boots up to an Android 12 OS. It bears a 5000mAh battery, 18W charging, 50MP primary camera teamed with a 32MP selfie.

Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East will be the first regions to get the Spark 9 Pro Sports Edition. Tecno will announce Individual region-specific pricing details in due course. Since the Tecno Camon 19 Pro's recent Special Edition Mondrain made it to Pakistan, it's safe to assume this will too.
