Tecno Spark GO 2023 Unveiled with Semi-premium Design, 5000mAh Energizer, & Helio A22 SoC

The Spark Go series by Tecno is home to the chain's most affordable devices. A new Tecno phone has emerged from the same series. It got listed yesterday on an official microsite with a product title "Tecno Spark Go 2023." Even though it's a money saver, the design spares no expense, have a look.

Tecno's initiation to 2023 brings a new Spark phone with semi-premium chassis with modern aesthetics, a diamond cut pattern on the back, a large black accented camera island with a biometric, and two sizable lenses. The model is chunky with an almost 8.9mm waist, but somehow looks robust with Endless Black, Nebula Purple, and Uyuni Blue finishes.

Since Spark Go 2023 is a low-end phone, it features mediocre specs. Starting with the display, it carries a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600. While its PPI count doesn't impress, it boasts an impressive corner-to-corner view with an 84% screen-to-body ratio.

Flipping the new Go Tecno mobile around, users will find two extra large sensors with a primary 13MP unit and an assistive QVGA lens. In the same camera island resides a circular cutout for a fingerprint reader. There's a 5MP unit on top of the screen inside a notched header for selfies.

Under the hood, it aligns MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with two memory combos: 3GB + 32GB or 4GB + 64 GB. In both options, a memory extender SD-card slot is available. The Transsion Holdings chain is yet to make the Android 13 version of HiOS, so the new Spark Go features Android 12 out of the box.

Its essentials include a BT 5.0, 5000mAh energizer backed by 10W charging, a complimentary 3.5mm audio port, and, best of all, a USB type-C port, which rarely exists in sub-entry-level phones. The model's pricing details and regional availability is still under wraps. If you could increase your budget, Spark 8C is another bang for the buck in the low-end category. Tecno mobile Spark 8C price in Pakistan starts at around 34,999 in Pakistan
