Tecno Spark 7 Price in Pakistan (Coming Soon); Unveiled with a 6000 mAh Battery and Entry-level Features

After a brief promotional campaign, Tecno unveiled the Tecno Spark 6's successor yesterday. It’s an entry-level phone with bare-bones, essential features. Currently, the Spark 7 is only available in India but, based on Tecno’s typical release calendar, it should be headed to Pakistan next.

If there’s one feature you can pinpoint for a typical Transsion-branded phone, it would have to be its big battery capacity. And the Tecno Spark 7 is no exception. It packs a massive 6000 mAh cell, advertised to last over thirty days on stand-by.

But being the basic model that it is, the Spark 7 lacks any fast charging support. The adapter in the box also uses the dated MicroUSB standard. Similarly, the phone has the 12nm MediaTek Helio A25 chip at its heart, available in 2GB/3GB of memory and 32GB/64GB of expandable internal storage. Tecno ships it with the latest Android11-based HiOS 7.5.

The build of the new addition to the Tecno price list is plain plastic. The spark 7 will be available in charcoal, blue, and mint shades. the brand has stamped the ‘Spark’ branding across the length of the back. Here, you’ll also find a conspicuous rear-facing fingerprint scanner and a polished camera plate. The platform is used to house a 16MP camera and an unnamed secondary lens.

Out on the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera embedded inside a notch. It bleeds into the 6.5” IPS LCD — a generic 720P and 20:9 panel.

At 9.5mm, the oversized battery makes for a thick shell. The base edition starts from INR 7,500 (~ Rs. 15,000,) while the top-end version costs INR 8,500 (~ Rs. 17,000.)
