A new Tecno phone from the Pova 4 gaming series emerges. Following the Pova Neo 2, Transsion Holding’s brand added a new member to the family, dubbed POVA 4 Pro. With its wild specs and a not-so-subtle design like the Tecno Camon 19 Neo, the phone has the potential to take on every competitor within its price segment.

Interestingly, unlike the former POVA phones, the Tecno POVA 4 Pro bears a full-fledged gaming-oriented buildup. Inspired by the Widmanstätten crystal pattern, the accents boasted by this model are super aggressive. Let’s have a peek at its hardware.

Pova 4 Pro brings a 6.66-inch AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a dewdrop notch for a full-immersive view. A graphite cooling solution made its way into the phone’s chassis for consistent gaming performance.

Additionally, the upcoming addition to the Tecno price catalog has gaming features like Panther Engine 2.0 and Game Space 2.0 baked into its Android 12-based HiOS operating system. The modes tune CPU frequencies to take full advantage of the silicon — speaking of: a MediaTek Helio G99 engine lies at the core of the Pova 4 Pro.

The G99 Chip is battery efficient (thanks to TCMC’s 6nm fabrication) and robust owing to eight high-frequency cores. Backed by 45W fast charging, the model carries an enormous 6,000mAh battery along with 8 gigabytes of memory and 256 gigabytes of storage.

Tecno Pova 4 Pro packs a 50MP primary camera with an Al sensor and dual-LED flash in a hexagonal camera platform on the backplate. With a bonus face-illuminating flash, users can take selfies using an 8MP front camera. The phone is boldly thick, clocking in at 9.19mm. The global price for this phone is still a mystery.
