Following the Camon 30 Premier release, Tecno has expanded its smartphone lineup further by introducing three new additions to the Camon 30 series: the Pro 5G, a standard 5G model, and a basic 4G variant. These models offer a range of features tailored to different market segments and user preferences.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G

Leading the trio is the Camon 30 Pro 5G, a powerhouse that mirrors the Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset of the Premier model, ensuring high performance. The device stands out with its camera capabilities, featuring a triple 50MP setup.

The primary 50MP sensor brings Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), followed by a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. However, the Pro variant replaces the Premier's 3x periscope with a 2MP depth sensor. This model has a 5,000mAh battery wired to an impressive 70W fast charging kit.

The Camon 30 Pro 5G boasts a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1080 x 2436 pixel resolution, promising vibrant visuals. Despite lacking an LTPO panel like the Premier, the display's high refresh rate compensates by providing fluid motion for gaming and scrolling.

Additional features like stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an IR blaster enrich the multimedia experience, making it a competitive option in the mid-range segment.

The Camon 30 5G variant steps down slightly in terms of processing power, employing the Dimensity 7020 chipset. This adjustment impacts the display's refresh rate, which gets reduced to 120Hz. However, the device maintains its FHD+ AMOLED panel, ensuring clear and vibrant display quality.

The selfie camera remains impressive, having a 50MP sensor equipped with autofocus and a dual color temperature flash. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS but omits an ultra-wide lens in favor of two low-resolution sensors.

Like its Pro counterpart, this model comes with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 70W charging, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an IR blaster, maintaining a solid feature set for its price point.

Tecno Camon 30

The 4G-compatible Camon 30 closely mirrors the specifications of the 5G model but opts for the Helio G99 chipset to cater to markets with prevalent 4G networks. This model retains the 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the chassis, the phone retains a 5,000mAh battery with 70W charging and stereo speakers certified with Dolby Atmos. The camera configuration aligns with the 5G model, featuring a 50MP autofocus front camera and a 50MP OIS-equipped primary camera. Unique to this variant is the inclusion of NFC, offering an additional connectivity option not found in its siblings.

With a choice between back finishes of glass or vegan leather, the Tecno Camon 30 series ensures that the selected devices meet users’ technical requirements and align with their aesthetic preferences. We have yet to hear about the lineup’s pricing and storage configurations, so stay tuned for that.
