Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 Tipped with Pre-order Window and Sales Timeline

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are setting out for a global launch next week. This duo will be announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9th in New York, as per the newly surfaced leak. The same source also shared details on their pre-order window and the shipping schedule after the event. Here’s what the new report reveals.

The Unpacked event is due on July 9th, and the pre-orders for both phones will kick off on the same day. Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 have the same timeline, from the booking to the actual shipment of the products. And Samsung will give buyers exactly 15 days to pre-order the device of their choosing.

If the rumor mill is to be believed, buyers won’t be getting their hands on the devices until July 25th, the official date for their retail deployment. Samsung will try to drum up pre-order sales as much as it can by giving perks and incentives to the early birds, but the offers will vary based on the region you live in.

The most common pre-order deal we’ve seen with Samsung's latest Fold models is double the storage at the price of the base option. This is a classic perk for early buyers, and sometimes the company also offers discount deals and free credit to shop on the Samsung store.

We won’t know what pre-order incentive Pakistani buyers will get until after the launch. But, in the meantime, you can take a look at the leaked renders for each device, and a set of live Z Fold 7 images that were recently found on X. As you can tell by looking at its design, Samsung has significantly reduced the Z Fold 7’s thickness.

It’s said to have an 8.9mm body this time in the folded state. When unfolded, the device could measure as low as 4.6mm, which will make this device the thinnest foldable on the market yet. If we talk about the Z Flip 7, the company has improved its cover screen and size.

The Z Flip 7 gets a big design overhaul this year with the cover screen that now extends across the entire upper section of the device. From what the leaks foreshadow, it’s been upgraded from 3.4” to an even 4” super AMOLED display. The clamshell Flip 7 is going to debut with Exynos 2500, and the Fold 7 has a Snapdragon 8 Elite at its core. We’ll know the rest of their details at the time of launch. Stay tuned for the upcoming review on July 9th.
