Samsung fans have been wondering what the Galaxy Tri-Fold looks like in real life. The company demoed this device a week ago. They may not have an official title for it yet, but plenty of information has come out in the past few days. It’s all thanks to the company’s first-ever live presentation at the 2025 K-Tech Showcase.

The Tri-Fold model was seen behind a glass display last week at the Korean event. They showed it both in a folded and an unfolded state. The press didn’t have any physical access to the device, which made the coverage much difficult.
But now, almost a week later, a video published on YouTube by SBS News and Omokgyo Electronics gives more angles and an in-hand demo of this device. You can see the two hinges as clear as day; one bigger and one smaller, so the phone can fold inwards.
This latest Samsung Fold model's design is much more difficult to execute than what we saw on the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate. The dual-crease panel they used here has a 10” diagonal size, by the way. It’s going to turn into a proper tablet when unfolded. In the unfolded state, the cover screen is always centered.

There are three cameras on the back. They say all the sensors have been borrowed from the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Also, this may be the thinnest phone Samsung has ever made after their current consumer bi-fold model, of course. The press video also showed some side angles, so you can judge its thickness for yourself.

The volume rocker and what seems to be a fingerprint ID are on the right side, as always. But it’s too soon to tell how effective that fingerprint reader will be with such a small surface area to scan the impressions.
Of course, all these details will be confirmed in time. In all the media coverage in the past days, we didn’t see any specs for this new Galaxy Tri-Fold. Samsung has done a pretty good job keeping the internal details under wraps. But it’s only a matter of time before they are outed as well. Keep watching the news for updates.
