While we are in wait for the Samsung Galaxy A22 launch in Pakistan, the rollout of the Galaxy M-series also continues. Following the latest Galaxy M32, the next in line is the Galaxy M22. The phone was prematurely featured in an official product listing over the weekend. Here’s what the leaks tell us.

Samsung Galaxy M22 was spotted on a European Samsung store, alongside its price tag. The phone comes in at least one 4GB+128GB edition, starting from EUR 239.90. The prices in Europe are always on a bit higher side so we can easily take out a few thousand rupees from the price tag as it reaches Pakistan. Since the M22 is based on the already-launched Galaxy A22, its price doesn’t deviate from its predecessor.

Previously, the same model has been benchmarked and certified by multiple authorities. Galaxy M22 can be found on the cross-platform benchmark, Geekbench, under the model name ‘samsung SM-M225FV.’ It specifies the MediaTek Helio G85 chip and the latest Android11-based OneUI Core for the M22.

Expected to join the Samsung price list soon, The Galaxy M22 was also signed off by the American FCC agency. The relevant product documentation contains charging specs. Samsung ships the phone with a 15W charging brick, but it supports up to 25W power delivery.

If the Galaxy A22 is any guide, the M22 should feature a 6.4” SuperAMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 720P resolution. The camera system would contain four lenses: a 48MP wide, an 8MP ultrawide, and two low-res macro and depth-mapping cameras. But the M22 might debut with a bigger battery capacity — as is typical of M-series phones. Instead of a 5000 mAh cell, we could be looking at a 6000 mAh battery.
