In line with the previous hints, company has officially unveiled its latest offering, Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo, in China. It marks the debut of Qualcomm's newly launched Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, complemented by a beefed-up memory hub sporting LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Here's an in-depth overview of the phone's specifications.

At the front, the Note 12T/Turbo flexes an enormous 6.67-inch screen layered with an OLED panel, Full HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It's ultra-immersive, with non-existent bezels and a pin-dot notch carrying its 16MP selfie shooter.

Towards the back, it has a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro shooter. The lenses housing these sensors don't have an added camera bulge. They pop out of the shell directly to keep the backplate minimal in design.

Note 12 Turbo's right edge has a power-key-embedded biometric fingerprint reader, and right on top of that, it has a volume rocker. As with other sibs in the Note 12 family, the Xiaomi Turbo new model sports a boxy look though it's slightly premium with no camera island.

As mentioned earlier, the phone has a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, the latest in the line of Qualcomm 7 series SoC. The phone will likely rank in the upper echelon of Redmi Smartphones since it has a 16GB RAM module and up to 1TB storage configuration.

Under the hood, Redmi Note 12 Turbo sports a 5000mAh cell capable of recharging at 67W input. In essentials, it has all the premium bells and whistles, including Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6, a headphone jack, and an IR blaster.

The new Redmi Note device costs $290 (~PKR 82,000) for its 8/256GB trim and $378 (~PKR 107,000) for the highest-end configuration, 16GB+1TB. Redmi Note 12 Turbo has an exclusive variant, too, themed in Warner Brother's Harry Potter Series. While it limits the RAM and storage to 12GB and 256GB, it costs almost the same as the Note's super-expensive 1TB variant (349$ or ~PKR 99,000).
