Remember the ZTE Nubia RedMagic 11S Pro and Pro+ that debuted in China last week. We did a full coverage of these handsets as soon as they were launched. Well, one of them has now gone international. And this particular version has a twist. Read on ahead to see all the details about the RedMagic 11S Pro (global).
The Chinese RedMagic 11S series discriminantly stripped liquid cooling from the Pro version and gave it only to the Pro+. But the global RedMagic 11S Pro does have the blue ring on the back, which obviously means it has liquid cooling, the AquaCore system.
They’ve also installed a 24,000 rpm active cooling fan blowing right over the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading chip. And there’s a passive VC cooling chamber on the scene. It’s probably one of the best heat control systems we’ve seen on a mobile.
All these elaborate cooling solutions are here to keep the 4.74GHz beast of a chip from thermal throttling. Yes, it’s just as fast as the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Better yet, we’d go as far as to say ZTE New nubia mobile performs much better under load due to its cooling. This newcomer allows the SD 8 Elite Gen 5 (Leading) to stretch its legs.
By the way, the SoC will share the load with their custom RedCore R4 gaming silicon. It doesn’t render anything, but it does manage performance and visuals, even audio and haptics. The screen is one of the best out there. RedMagic 11S Pro is built around a 6.85” AMOLED.
This is a 144Hz AMOLED at a 1.5K resolution, and it hits 1800nits brightness (peak). A 360° antenna is used on the body. This will catch 5G signals and help the WiFi 7 module to show its best. The frame does not have dust ingress safety, obviously, so it’s only rated IPX8.
By the way, the RedMagic 11S Pro global has a smaller battery than the one in China. It’s actually 7500mAh. The charging speeds are 80W wired and 80W wireless. The cameras are 50MP ultrawide + 50MP (main) + 16MP selfie. The base MSRP of the RedMagic 11S Pro (12/256GB) is €799 (~PKR 259,000). 16/512GB trim takes the MSRP to €899 (~PKR 292,000).
