Realme X7 Pro Makes its Global Debut; Features, Performance, and Pricing

In September, Realme introduced the X7 series in China, featuring the Realme X7 and X7 Pro. The pro model just debuted in Thailand. And should land in other Asian markets, including Pakistan, over the coming weeks. Here’s a quick rundown of what the X7 Pro has to offer.

Realme’s X series is their flagship lineup. It's reflected in Realme X7 Pro's specification sheet. We’re looking at a 6.5” Super AMOLED display, peaking at a 1080P resolution, 1200 nits of brightness, a fluid refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

100% DCI-P3 RGB color space provides true-to-life colors with punchy contrast. The screen has a hole punch poked in its corner to house the front-facing camera. A fingerprint reader is integrated into the display.

Flip the Realme X7 Pro over to find an equally recycled design — a rounded boxy camera plate with four cameras, resting on a glass back, surrounded by an aluminum frame. You can pick the new Realme phones from the gorgeous Iridescent Rainbow and navy blue colors. The Fantasy White edition seems to be limited to the Chinese market, at least for now.

The primary rear camera is a Sony-made 64MP camera. A predictable 8MP 119° wide-angle camera joins it. And a pair of 2MP depth and macro sensors round the setup off. The X7 Pro selfie camera is 32MP. But no telephoto or true ultra-wide cameras to be seen here. The image processing software has nightscape mode, night filters, and ultra mode features.

The chipset inside the Realme X7 Pro is the top-of-the-line Dimensity 1000+ from MediaTek. It’s hooked up to a 4500 mAh battery, powered by 65W SuperDART Charge — a full charge promised within 35 minutes. But the battery capacity is on the lower-end, considering the 5G modem and resource-hungry display that runs on it.

8GB of memory does the multitasking on X7 Pro. The UFS 2.1 storage comes in 128GB/256GB options. It's non-expandable. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack is absent. Dolby Atmos certified dual speakers give a stereo effect.
