Realme Note 80 is relatively new, yet the company feels the need to rebrand it as Realme C81 to fill its outdated lineup. It’s an odd time to release this device, especially when they’ve already unveiled the first two phones from the Realme C100 family. Anyway, Realme C81’s colors and storage were leaked today. This is what you need to know.

There’s only 4GB RAM here. It will severely limit the phone’s performance and hold back the multitasking for users. It’s a budget device, so low RAM makes sense. The base trim only serves 64GB of storage, which is getting harder to recommend with each passing year.
There’s a second option that will pair 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. Hopefully, it won’t get too much of a price hike. By the way, these details were shared by 91Mobiles. The source is credible enough to be taken seriously. Some colors were also reported.

Realme's latest C model, the RMX5388, is probably headed for colors Glacier Blue and Storm Black. The internal screenshot from a retail store clearly shows dual trims for this phone. The theory that this phone is a rebranded Realme Note 80 actually helps fill in the blanks about its specs.

They could use a 6.74” screen on the C81. It will be a 90Hz panel, and the resolution could be limited to HD+ (720p). This is only an IPS panel, so all you get is 450 nits of peak brightness. Note 80 also had a Unisoc T7250 SoC, so that’s exactly what we can expect from the C81.

The camera was never a strong point for the Note or the C series. It’s more than likely that this newcomer will only use an 8MP main shooter. The selfie camera will be even worse with only a 5MP sensor. The water resistance here is the bare minimum (IP54), but it is MIL-STD-810H drop safe.
Then comes the battery, which is actually pretty decent for the class. Realme Note 80 or the prospective C81 are built around a 6,300mAh cell. It will last all day, though the charging will be slow at only 15W. These two phones share the same model number. So they could be identical. Keep watching the news for updates.
