Now that Realme C3 is all set for launch on February 25, Realme is knocking off 2,000 PKR off Realme C2 that was released back in 2019. The discount applies to the 3GB/64GB variant that was initially retailing for 20,000 PKR. After the discount, it will now be available for 18,000 PKR

To recall, the C2 offers a diamond-cut fractal look on the rear shell, and an AI dual-camera stacked horizontally. On the front, you’re looking at a notched display that measures 6.1 inches and produces an HD+ resolution. The chin is a tad heavier, but you still get a respectable 89.35% screen-to-body ratio. Finally, you can pick from Diamond Black and Diamond Blue color options.

Coming to the optics, the main camera is a 12-megapixel shooter paired with a 2-megapixel depth assist lens. For capturing selfies, the Realme C2 brings you a modest 5-megapixel front-facing camera. However, this being a budget-centric offering from mid-2019, you don’t get a fingerprint scanner, so you’ll have to make do with face unlocking.

It is driven by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset coupled with up to 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB/64 GB of onboard storage. You can expand the storage up to 256 GB with a 2+1 slot. The octa-core processor built into the SoC is clocked at 2.0 GHz and should offer you smooth, reliable performance and improved battery life, at least as far as entry-level Androids go.

Speaking of longer battery life at the new Realme price, the C2 packs a 4,000 mAh power cell, which should give you day’s usage on a single charge. On the software front, the C2 runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 6.0 (based on Android Pie). To wrap up, the Realme C2 might be the most affordable Realme you can get, and it just got cheaper.
