Realme has two new Realme 8 series editions — Realme 8s and Realme 8i — set to launch soon. The Realme 8s has already been collecting certifications and featured in product leaks. And the Realme 8i previews and specifications have now surfaced ahead of the upcoming launch.

The credible phone leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known as @OnLeaks, partnered with the publication Digit to bring us high-quality product mockups featuring the Realme 8i. It showcases the phone in a glossy umber and sunburst finish. The backplate has a chamfered finish and three cameras (plus an LED flash) laid out inside a camera island.

Flip the Realme 8i over to find a flat O-hole screen, a side-facing thumbprint reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The build weighs 194g and measures 8.6mm in depth. We’re looking at a 6.59” display that delivers a Full HD resolution and refreshes at a smooth 120Hz.

One 16MP selfie camera is housed inside the hole-punch cutout at an affordable Realme mobile price. On the back, a 50MP wide lens and two 2MP lenses are mounted. Unlike the Realme 8s that uses a 5G Dimensity chip, the Realme 8i runs on the newly-released MediaTek Helio G96. It’s designed to drive 120Hz screens.

It’s all powered by a quick-charging 5000 mAh battery and the current-gen realme UI. You get 4GB of memory and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.
