Realme remains one of today's most surprising manufacturers, growing by almost 1000% over the last 12 months. Now the brand seems all geared up in preparations to introduce their latest smartphones, Realme 5 and 5 Pro.

Over the past few days, several rumors have pointed to Realme being the second smartphone to arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. These rumors have just been confirmed not only through the listing on the Geekbench platform but numerous social media promos have also been spotted confirming more features.

In addition to Snapdragon 665, these performance tests also reveal the presence of 4GB of RAM and Android Pie. Unfortunately, the benchmarks did not confirm any further details of its specifications. but, thanks to the various leaks and official promos, we already have a good idea of what exactly it has to offer.

Realme 5 is expected to arrive with 64GB of internal storage with expandable microSD card. Although not the most impressive smartphone in terms of the specs, the presence of a quad-camera setup and an affordable price should guarantee its success. The rear camera setup is expected to be comprised of 16MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP lenses while the front also holds a 16MP selfie snapper.

Furthermore, The Realme 5 will come with the biggest battery ever on a Realme smartphone with a staggering 5000mAh of juice. But sadly the phone won't support the VOOC quick charge as also claimed earlier by an Indian leakster Mukul Sharma. The pro variant, however, is officially confirmed to support the VOOC 3.0.

Regarding its price, numerous rumors point to a base price around € 175 or around 31,000 PKR (without taxes) which will surely increase the appreciation of the new Chinese superstar. Realme 5 Pro is expected to be the real star of the brand's portfolio, coming with a main 48MP sensor, AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 730 and a price of around € 250, which converts to some 44,000 Pakistani rupees.

Though a 64MP camera smartphone is said to arrive in China today, both Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro are expected to be launched on 20th August in India. So the global launch is just 5 days ahead and hopefully, we would not have to wait much longer for the handsets to finally land on the Pakistani soil.
