Realme 15x 5G has finally debuted as the fourth member of the series. This is a midrange phone by all means, except the display. It sticks to an entry-level HD+ resolution, which feels out of place in 2025. But if you can look past it, the Realme 15x is almost the perfect sub-$200 phone.
Realme 15x has landed in India first, but we’ll be seeing it in more countries soon enough. The display specs include a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200nits. This is on an IPS display, so we are quite impressed. The phone has three symmetrical borders and a thick chin at the bottom of the screen.
The display has a punch hole that brings a high-res 50MP selfie shooter. The rear camera setup has the same 50MP main sensor. Realme 15x seems to have three lenses on the back, but only one is populated and functional. The rest are decorative pieces.
The design includes an RGB ring LED right next to the primary camera, which functions the same way as the basic Realme 15 or 15 Pro. Among other specs, we discovered that the Realme's latest flagship model has a 7000mAh battery, which again seems identical to its other siblings.
The others have faster 80W charging solutions, but the 15x relies on a 60W input, which may take more than an hour to replenish the 7000mAh cell. This newcomer is well-constructed, and the company secured the ultimate IP69 rating for it. The phone is completely waterproof.
It’s also a shockproof device with military-grade resistance to fall damage. Realme says on the launch site that the phone has a fast 6nm Dimensity 6300 processor, which is perfectly suited for affordable devices. The RAM goes up to 8GB, and the storage to 128GB.
Realme 15x has a side fingerprint reader, which is convenient enough for quick access to the lock screen. The WiFi card sticks to the 5GHz standard, and the Bluetooth module supports v5.3. The phone has a single speaker at the bottom. The base price for Realme 15x (6/128GB) is only $190 (~PKR 53,000).
