Samsung is renewing the Galaxy M-series this month. The Galaxy M line features value phones, including the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M53 5G. No official promos are out yet, but pre-release benchmarks for the M53 5G have appeared online.

The Galaxy M52 5G's successor can be located on the popular cross-platform benchmark Geekbench. It’s listed under the model number “SM-M535B.” The scorecard contains system specs and benchmark figures, and we’ll briefly review both.

The “MT6877V” codename belongs to the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip. It’s a 5G mobile platform built on a 6nm node. At least 6GB of memory handles multitasking (but an 8GB edition is also in the cards.) Android 12 x OneUI 4.0 powers the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G. You can expect up to 128GB of storage.

When running single-core tests, the Samsung M-series latest model hits 726 points, and 2168 points when engaging all cores. For context, last year’s Galaxy M52 managed 568 and 2701 points, respectively. The Galaxy M53 is rumored to start from INR 30,000 (~ Rs. 70,000.)

The Galaxy M52 rocked a 6.7” 1080P 120Hz display. Everything ran on a 5000 mAh battery with 25W rapid charging. The rear camera featured 64MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro lenses. Its casing was slim and lightweight.
