Oppo Reno4 Lite Featured on an Online Store Ahead of the Official Release; A Rebadged Oppo F17 Pro?

Oppo is rounding off the new Reno4 series, featuring the Reno4 and Oppo Reno4 Pro, with a Lite edition. It’s scheduled for release on October 1, but a Ukrainian online store has prematurely made the listing for the phone public — giving us the preview and pricing of the Oppo Reno4 Lite. Based on this official channel, as well as previously leaked renders, the Reno4 Lite is simply a rebadged Oppo F17 Pro.

The Oppo F17 Pro is a recently-introduced mid-range phone, headlined by a sleek design and a focus on portrait photography. It’s coming to Pakistan soon but will be released in other markets — primarily Europe — as the Reno4 Lite.

Save for the new name, Reno4 Lite is the same phone. It’s slim and featherweight, at 7.48mm thickness and a weight of only 164g. The edges and corners are smooth, beveled, and rounded.

The SuperAMOLED panel measures 6.43”, has an FHD+ resolution, 90.7% screen estate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. A wide hole-punch houses the Oppo Reno4 Lite's two front-facing cameras. Available in Magic Blue and Matte Black, the Reno4 Lite has a reflective, duo-tone finish. We find four cameras on the back for a total of 6 portrait cameras. They present a symmetric, balanced design in a matrix layout.

There’s a 48MP main camera, combined with two space-filler mono sensors and an 8MP wide-angle lens. Selfies are taken with a 16MP camera that supports hardware-grade bokeh thanks to the second depth-mapping sensor. The Oppo Reno 4 Lite comes preloaded with several dedicated portrait modes: AI Super Night Portrait, AI Color Portrait, Night Flare Portrait, Super Clear Portrait, and more.

You can expect best-in-tier charging performance out of Reno4 Lite’s industry-leading 30W VOOC Flash Charging that powers its 4,000 mAh battery. The chipset handling processing behind the scenes is MediaTek’s Helio P95, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of user-expandable storage.
