Oppo Reno X with Wide Display Reportedly in the Works, Leak Reveals Key Specs

Huawei Pura X View is a non-folding wide phone soon to be released in China. Apparently, the genre is gaining traction these days, and Oppo wants a piece of the pie too. So they’ve started working on the Oppo Reno X. There was a leak today that reported its main specs.

It’s all about aspect ratio. Wide phones are perfect for horizontal content that fits the popular 16:9 or 16: 10 aspect ratios. Oppo Reno X could choose one of them for its 6.35” small but wide display. The Pura X View had a 5:3 ratio, so it was somewhere in the middle.

From what we can tell, this is a pure flagship device, which isn’t usually the case with Reno phones. They range from entry-level to semi-flagship. The leak told us that it could use a Dimensity 9000-series chip. No specific model was given by the leak source @Gadgetsdata on X.

Anyway, the screen is supposedly a flat 6.35” AMOLED, and it has a 120Hz refresh rate at 1.5K resolution. The build is also premium, since they fashioned it out of metal. This would probably be a great camera Oppo latest reno mobile with triple high-tier sensors on the back.

The main shooter is said to be a 200MP sensor with OIS, and there’s a 50MP ultrawide in the neighborhood. Then comes another 200MP periscope zoom telephoto camera for portraits. The leak doesn’t really say anything about the battery. But it needs to pack a big cell if Reno X wants to outdo the Pura X View.

Huawei Pura X View has a 7000mAh battery, by the way. It has 66W wired + 50W wireless charging options, too. The tripster has a track record, since they’ve made predictions like this in the past and they panned out. But we still advise not to take their words at face value. You should wait to hear from the company first. Keep watching the news for more updates.
