Oppo F31 Series Expected with 7000mAh Battery and Next-level Durability

Oppo’s F31 lineup is on the way to launch, and it might bring two devices. The pair will include vanilla F31 and an Oppo F31 Pro model, both sitting in the upper midrange category. These handsets have just appeared in a leak with key details about their designs, durability, and battery. Here’s what we found.

All the details here were sourced from an X user, a leaker with account handle @passionategeekz. The information seems reliable, since multiple international publications have already cited this leak for their headlines. The tipster first reveals Oppo F31 and F31 Pro’s battery specs, and then he comments on their designs.

Apparently, each of these phones has a 7000mAh battery, which is a big jump over the existing 6000mAh cell on the F29 and 6500mAh on the F29 Pro duo. No charging figures were tipped by the leaker, though we suspect the speed will be equal to or better than the last generation.

These OPPO new 5G mobiles will also bring back the so-called “Next Level Durability,” which is another name for their reinforced design and IP69 rating. The newcomers should be safe from accidental liquid spills or skirmishes with other elements. And it doesn’t end there.

Oppo has made each F31 phone with an enhanced 360° Armor Body, which sustains damage and scales up the network performance. The F29 line before this series had an MIL-STD-810H drop protection rating, meaning you can expect something similar or better on the Oppo F31 family.

The company usually refreshes its midrange F series every six months. The last phones came out in March, which means the subsequent F31 lineup might surface within the next month. The X leaker poses the same theory, confirming a September launch for the duo.

There were no tangible details in the leak except the battery size. The rest of its specs are a mystery. Clearly, more than a few leakers are on Oppo F31’s tail, so it shouldn’t take long for its remaining specs to come out. Keep an eye out for more leaks and developments.
