Oppo A6 Pro has been teased in Pakistan. The newcomer is on its way to our market as we speak. It’s likely an LTE version of the original A6 Pro 5G available in China. Even though the company has revealed limited details in Pakistan, a listing for this new device exists on Oppo’s global website. Here’s what you need to know about this handset before it lands on our shores.
There’s no telling how many of these colors will arrive in Pakistan, but the global A6 Pro 4G has Lunar Titanium, Stellar Blue, Coral Pink, and Rosewood Red designs. The phone is just 8mm thick with flat side rails and a camera deco resembling the Reno 14.
The phone comes with either an 8/128GB or 8/256GB memory assortment. It’s a combo of UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X RAM, which is midrange at best. We learned that the phone has a Helio G100 chip, one of the best-selling entry-level SoCs to support 4G networks.
This latest Oppo budget mobile runs on eight cores with a max clock speed of 2.2GHz. We suspect the Oppo A6 Pro 4G will arrive in Pakistan with the same Helio G100 chip, but we do suggest waiting for official confirmation first. Its chipset may boast entry-level performance, but the display is on a whole other level.
Its screen has a layer of AGC Dragontrail Star D+ Glass for protection against scratches and drops. The A6 Pro carries a 6.57” AMOLED panel that refreshes at a 120Hz rate with a FHD+ resolution. It has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% sRGB range. In the HBM mode, the panel gets as bright as 1400 nits.
This screen looks so premium because of the uniform and ultra-thin bezels. This is a huge upgrade over the existing Oppo A5 Pro 4G in Pakistan, but we suspect it will come with a massive price hike. We have a small punch hole at the top and a 16MP selfie camera within.
Its rear camera is your standard 50MP + 2MP combo. The A6 Pro has a titan 7000mAh battery inside, which will easily last you two days with light usage. The max input it supports is 80W through the SuperVOOC charger. The phone is IP69 rated for maximum dust and water resistance. Its cost and launch date in Pakistan will be revealed shortly. Keep watching the news.
