Oppo A6 Pro Confirms Pakistani Launch Date; Teases 7,000mAh Battery & 80W Charging

Oppo has confirmed the A6 Pro’s launch date in Pakistan. The newcomer will arrive on Friday, September 26th, with a huge 7000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. These are the only official details they’ve provided in teasers. Lucky for us, the global Oppo site already has everything on the Oppo A6 Pro. Here’s a quick rundown of its spec sheet.

The A6 Pro is built around a 6.57” AMOLED panel with a peak 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. The layer of AGC Dragontrail Star D+ Glass protects this screen. It has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% sRGB range for best color reproduction. The panel hits 1400 nits max brightness.

It might show up with a 2.2GHz octa-core SoC at the heart. We suspect the Oppo A6 Pro 4G will arrive in Pakistan with the same Helio G100 chip as the global market. This chip has entry-level CPU and GPU performance, but at least the phone has one of the industry’s best charging and battery stats.

Oppo A6 Pro is being advertised as Pakistan’s largest battery phone with a 7000mAh capacity. The company chose an odd method to tease this battery’s reverse-charging ability. They rigged the phone to a toy car and put it on a small track. The new Oppo budget mobile powered the toy car’s motor for 780 laps or 31.5 kilometers.

When the battery runs dry, an 80W SuperVOOC charger should provide backup. The company is only teasing its Stellar Blue and Rosewood Red colors, so these might be the only options. The Blue has a plain rear shield, and the Red has a bold pattern.

The phone is IP69 rated for maximum dust and water resistance. Its screen looks premium because of the minimal bezels and a small punch hole, hiding a 16MP selfie camera. Its rear lens setup tucks away your standard 50MP + 2MP sensor combo.

It brings either an 8/128GB or an 8/256GB memory assortment globally, but we can’t say if the A6 Pro has the same variants for Pakistan. You should know it’s a UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X RAM combo. The local price and launch details haven’t been confirmed yet. Keep watching the news for full coverage once it lands in Pakistan on September 25th.
