Through its recent clearance on TENAA, the nearing Oppo A3 has disclosed its main internal details. The company may be planning to launch a vanilla model following the release of A3 Pro in China. TENAA affirms that the device will have outstanding features for budget buyers.

Its giant display of 6.67 inches (Full HD+ AMOLED) would be one of the key selling points for Oppo. The device will offer great visuals for multimedia consumption. Plus, measuring 162.9 x 75.6 x 8.1 mm and weighing 191g, the A3 will be slightly more bulky than the Oppo A3 Pro.

It makes up for the size by having a higher battery capacity at 5500mAh, so customers can go long hours without recharging. Photography-wise, there will be a pair of high-end lenses on the backside: 50 MP main plus 2 MP assistant, which will translate to higher-quality portrait shots. Meanwhile, there will be another sharp 16MP camera to snap selfies.

The specific chipset details remain unavailable; but, the Oppo latest budget model should come in many different variants including 8GB or 12GB RAM and internal storage between 128GB and 512GB (or even 256GB). The major distinction between the Pro and non-Pro devices lies in their storage expansion.

Unlike its Pro counterpart, the vanilla Oppo A3 can expand memory using a microSD slot. Apart from differing amounts of onboard space, the newcomer will also bring other useful specs like virtual memory and improved connectivity features.

Although the phone’s images on TENAA are not available, fans should note that the design of the A3 may differ excessively from the Pro model. We saw the same trend with the previous A2 series. In addition, since the A3 would launch separately from the Pro version some feature and hardware disparities between them are imminent.
