Oppo A1 5G, another breathtaking handset from the manufacturer, hits the shelves in Mainland China. The phone has successfully debuted with two storage variants and three color options, Cabernet Orange, Ocean Blue, and Sandstone Black. Here are a few of the phone's specifications outlined by the China Telecom website. 


Ascertaining from its spec sheet, Oppo A1 5G likely ranks in the manufacturer's mid-range smartphone portfolio. At the core, it rocks a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 695 chipset running its system at 2.2GHz clock speeds. It couples 256GB of storage with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM.

On the software front, Oppo A1 5G carries Android 13 skinned in Color OS UI. Booting the system is a 5000mAh cell, backed by fast charging support via a USB Type–C 2.0 port. In additional features, It includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader, NFC support, and an IR blaster. 


Oppo A1 5G is a plank-sized handset bearing a massive 6.72-inch LCD screen. The IPS panel under the screen boasts a 1080p (FHD+) resolution, likely followed by a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Apart from its impressive screen size, the phone has minimal bezel waste and sharp visuals thanks to its ~392 PPI density, making it a top contender in its price range. Oppo A1's design inspiration comes from a sister lineup dubbed Reno 8 series. It has an identical pill-shaped camera module on the back with two camera rings individually housing a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth of field mapper. Toward the front, a selfie camera lies in a punch-hole cutout boasting an 8MP resolution. The newcomer's price starts at $305 for the 8+256 GB variant, translating to Pakistani ~87,500 Rupees.
