Back in November, HMD Global brought Nokia 6300, an iconic Nokia classic phone, back to life. The new Nokia 6300 4G refreshes the original design, all while giving it a modern spin with the KaiOS. Advance Telecom, the official Nokia vendor in Pakistan, just released the Nokia 6300 4G. And it’s already up for sale. Here’s a quick rundown of what it offers.
The new retro phone doesn’t have the metallic accents you remember from the Nokia 6300. It’s a more homogenous, plasticky aesthetic, but the layout is more or less the same.
You get a single camera on the back and a T9 keymat on the front, presenting a mild contrast against a black accent. HMD has stripped off the volume rocker, made the edges flat, and the duo-tone finish. It comes in green, white, and charcoal colors.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 processor lies at the heart of the Nokia 6300 4G. It’s powered by a 1500 mAh battery and the feature-rich KaiOS. You’re promised at least 16 days on standby and 3.5 hours of talk time on 4G. The onboard internal storage is only 4GB. But it can be expanded with a microSD card like all the other Nokia mobiles.
Google Assistant is instantly summoned with a dedicated button on 6300 4G. YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, and the KaiOS store come preloaded. Plus, you can seamlessly share your 4G data with the Wi-Fi hotspot feature.
The display is a compact 2.4” QVGA panel. The camera is VGA too, accompanied by an LED flash that doubles as the flashlight. And you can route your audio output through its 3.5mm headphone jack. Nokia 6300 4G is priced at Rs. 9,500 in Pakistan.
