We’re still a few days away from the March 4 launch of Xiaomi’s budget Redmi Note 10 series. The official promos so far have teased some of the features of Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro and the standard Note 10, but they don’t specify any system information. A new leaked hands-on photo of the Note 10 reveals just that and more.

Published on a Facebook page titled Xiaomi Leaks Ph, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 and its retail box are seen with the phone’s specs printed on the plastic cover.

Xiaomi phones, be it budget or flagship, often adopt Qualcomm’s latest chipsets. And the Redmi Note 10 is no different. Snapdragon 678 is a new entry in Qualcomm’s 4G line of mid-range chips. It’s a tweaked and improved edition of the Snapdragon 675 from 2019, built on an 11 nm fabrication process.

Features traditionally considered ‘premium’ or at least upper mid-range — like IP ratings, dual stereo speakers, Gorilla Glass protection — have already been confirmed. But Xiaomi has even more in store for us. As an Indian phone leaker had previously predicted, the Redmi Note 10 is the first to feature an OLED screen.

We’re looking at a 6.43” AMOLED display with a centered hole-punch and a 1080P resolution on Note 10. This hole in the screen of the Xiaomi new model 2021 has shrunk since the last generation, but the stocky chin is still there.

The plastic Redmi Note 10 shell comes in two colors, mint and off-white; the camera island, featuring four lenses, has chrome accents around it. The main camera is 48MP, and an ultra-wide camera and two macro sensors join this array.

Lastly, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that fast charges over 33W (you can expect a full charge in under an hour or so.) The MIUI 12, based on Android11, runs on the Note 10 straight out of the box.
