Infinix worked with Pininfarina to design the most unique-looking phone they’ve launched in years. Not just by design, it’s probably the closest device to a flagship we’ve seen from this company. Infinix Note 60 Ultra is definitely worthy of its name. Here’s everything you need to know about this handset.
Pininfarina is actually an Italian car design company, and it’s their first project with a smartphone brand. Note 60 Ultra is built with an aluminum alloy. They are advertising this newcomer as the world’s first with Uni-Chassis Camera Module, which is a Gorilla Glass Victus shield with three cameras and a screen behind it.
That huge camera bar is stacked. There’s a dot matrix LED display behind it (identical to Note 60 Pro) next to a 200MP main camera. The sensor is said to be Samsung ISOCELL HPE with 2X lossless zoom and 1/1.4” aperture. Zoom shots are actually taken from a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto lens.
The telephoto itself can do 3.5X optical zoom, and it also punches into the sensor with a digital 7x in-sensor crop. The third lens is a 112° ultra-wide. For the first time, the cameras on this Note 60 Ultra can process Ultra HDR photos and videos. The back has another underrated feature: a red Floating Taillight that glows. All the hardware is powered by a 7000mAh battery. This is the first self-healing battery on a phone. Every 200 cycles lost on this device increases the health by 1%. And there’s 100W wired charging with 50W wireless Infinix MagCharge input support here. You’ll find both chargers inside the box, so you don’t have to spend extra on accessories.
Flip the Note 60 Ultra over, and it greets you with a 6.78” OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s actually pushing 1.5K or 1208 x 2644 pixels. There’s Ultra HDR support on this panel, by the way. Gorilla Glass 7i keeps it safe, and the phone as a whole is rated IP64 (rain and splashproof).
Of course, XOS 16 Android 16 comes out of the box on the Infinix Note 60 Ultra. The support is not great, but they’ve committed to three years of Android updates. There’s a stereo Audio System with JBL surround sound, and WiFi 6 is also available on the Ultra. Then comes an Infrared port in the essentials, and two-way satellite communication. The company unveiled the pricing, too. Infinix Note 60 Ultra won’t be cheap, as it starts at $760 (~PKR 212,000) with a 12GB/256GB setup.
