Infinix Note 60, Note Edge, and Note 60 Pro Certified in Indonesia; Launch Imminent

The Hot 60 series was unveiled a while back, but the premium Note 60 lineup is still missing from the big picture. The phones are getting closer, though. We just found a bunch of new listings on Indonesia’s SDPPI database, and among them, there were devices tagged Infinix Note 60 Pro, a basic Note 60, and an oddity with the moniker Note Edge.

They gave the names right on the listing, which is a pretty solid clue that the devices exist and are on the path to inevitable debut. We are talking about a global launch here, since Indonesia is part of the company’s international launch roster.

The model numbers were also shown on the listings, which should help track these devices on other certifications. SDPPI pens them down as X6878 (Note 60), X6887 (Note Edge), and X6878 (Note 60 Pro). By the way, the latter was found with some key specs on Geekbench.

SDPPI was helpful, sure, but it didn’t really expose any specifications. Geekbench had tested one of the phones earlier, and it seems there’s a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip on their latest Infinix Note mobile. That’s a first and certainly unexpected from Infinix.

This company has never stepped outside its bounds and has always used a MediaTek chip, sometimes mixed with a Unisoc silicon. Qualcomm has never been in the picture for Infinix devices. The SD 7s Gen 4 is the same chip that’s found on the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, so we assume the Note 60 Pro is its direct rival.

Anyway, this Pro Infinix model is seen with 8GB RAM and Android 16 on the Geekbench listing. They obviously have an XOS 16 ready. It will probably show up on new devices before ending up in the update cycle for a few lucky recent phones that are on the list.

This isn’t the last we hear of the Infinix Note 60 series. There will be more updates on this topic soon. The last Note series debuted in March, so expect a similar timeline for the successors. Keep watching the news if you want to stay in the loop.
