Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G Leaks in Full Ahead of Launch with Matrix Display & Dimensity 7100

Only one of the Hot 70 series devices has launched yet. There are more coming, and Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G is one of them. This newcomer is making a move in one of the neighboring Asian markets soon. A leak has been going around revealing exactly what this device looks like and what it features, specs-wise. This is everything we know.

PassionateGeekz alleges that the Asian debut isn’t far. It’s a reputable source, so we are giving it the benefit of the doubt. Apparently, the Hot 70 Pro 5G is built around a 6.76” IPS LCD that has a 720p resolution (HD+) with a possible punch hole camera and a puny 8MP selfie shooter.

Obviously, it makes sense if the screen stats rubbed some of you the wrong way since last year’s Hot 60 Pro LTE was a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED phone at a 6.78” size. This may be the biggest downgrade we’ve seen. Again, this could turn out to be a rumor, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The leaker thinks Infinix new Hot mobile will have a Dot Matrix LED display on the back, not the kind Infinix Note 60 series uses, but something smaller. It will be along the strip of rear cameras, one of which houses a 50MP main outsole for photos and videos. The leak didn’t say if they’ve put a temperature-reacting backplate on the Pro.

At least the phone will have a much better performance, seeing that it now has a 5G-ready Dimensity 7100 SoC. That’s a 6nm 2.4GHz platform, by the way. Then comes the Mali-G610 GPU, which is usually put in the midrange for gaming performance.

They are going to ship it with Android 16, of course. The default overlay skin will be XOS 16. They are going with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage on the Hot 70 Pro 5G. The battery also gets a decent bump in numbers, and should translate to a few more hours of screen time.

Apparently, the Hot 70 is going with a 6000mAh battery, average by today’s standards, but far better than the Hot 60 Pro’s 5160 mAh cell. This newcomer will keep using 45W as the charging input. The base price of this phone is projected to be BDT 18,999 (~$155) (~PKR 43,000) for just the 4/128GB trim. Each version above will add $30 more to the cost. And the projected launch window is between July and August.
