Huawei P40 and P40 Pro Appear In Leaked Renders Revealing Their Front Design

The surprisingly razor-thin bezels of the upcoming Huawei P40 series have been long speculated upon, but no leaked render gave us a clear glimpse at the front panel of any of the P40 editions — that is, until now. A set of renders showcasing the P40 and P40 Pro have been leaked by the famous phone leaker Evan Blass.

The standard P40 by Huawei rocks a dual punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner of its display. The image doesn't show it, but leaks claim that the panel curves ever-so-slightly around the edges.

Aside from the dual camera punch hole on the P40, the screen also embeds a fingerprint scanner underneath it. The form factor is perfectly in-line with what you'd expect from a modern flagship, The handset is expected to be the cheapest of the series as far as the Huawei price tag is concerned.

The 'Pro' edition is where things get interesting. A company executive claimed that the Huawei P40 Pro would feature a 'never seen' design, and the render you're looking at promises just that. The display curves and melts into all four sides. The bezels are barely visible since Huawei has pushed them back to take advantage of the curved build. Evidently, this all-screen form factor will afford the phone a higher-than-average screen-to-body ratio.

Even though the display is akin to a waterfall screen, Huawei hasn't dropped the physical keys which can be spotted on the spine of the device.

The pill-shaped hole in P40 Pro is wider in comparison to that of the standard variant. If recent leaks are to be believed, you're looking at the world's first triple selfie camera. The design is pure eye-candy, not to mention futuristic. The render probably doesn't do it justice, so we'll have to wait until Huawei publishes teasers for the lineup.

The P40 trio including P40, P40 Pro & P4 Premium is scheduled to go official on March 26, carrying some amazing Huawei prices. Rumors claim that the alleged Porsche and Red Flag editions will accompany this launch as well.
