A local source informs WhatMobile that the Huawei Nova 7i is scheduled for launch in Pakistan on May 21, at 8 PM. Here's the scoop.

The mid-range Nova entry in question was introduced earlier in February this year, and it ships with HMS onboard. It has soft corners, chamfered edges, and a proportional camera layout at attractive Huawei prices.

Nova 7i is available in Sakura Pink (the smooth gradient design is more pronounced in this edition), Midnight Black, and Crush Green shades. The latter two have a more polished, reflective look.

Flip the Huawei latest model over to meet its punched screen, surrounded by minimal bezels. A side-mounted thumbprint reader rests below the volume rocker. The display is a cookie-cutter 6.4" LCD panel that produces an FHD+ resolution.

The quad-camera inside the squircle bump features a 48MP (f/1.8) main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle module, and a pair of 2MP depth and macro shooters. The big aperture and 1/2" sensor on Huawei Nova 7i allows for better low-light shots, more so in the 'Super Night' mode, which reduces noise further. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor behind it.

The processing is handled by a Kirin 810 chip, augmented with Huawei's GPU Turbo technology for a smoother gaming experience. Huawei has combined the processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage expandable up to 256GB.

To power the Nova 7i internals, Huawei uses a 4,200 mAh battery supported by the remarkable 40W SuperCharge – which the company claims can power up your device from 0 to 70% in only 30 minutes.

The 7i ships with the Android-Q-based EMUI 10.0.1 -- featuring Huawei Mobile Services and the AppGallery. The pricing details haven't been revealed yet, but WhatMobile speculates the Nova 7i to start at Rs. 49,999 PKR.
