Huawei Nova 6 5G is launching on December 5, Official Teaser Promo Released

It’s been a few weeks since we first heard about Huawei Nova 6 5G. Multiple leaks have clued us in about the design details and specs, but it was just rumored, nothing official. At least until now. Huawei has just released an official teaser promo for the upcoming Nova 6 5G on Weibo and has also confirmed it to be launching on the 5th of December.

The Video teaser showcases the Nova 6’s design and camera capabilities while the release date was revealed later through an official launch poster. It sports a not-so-common pill-style punch-hole design that sits on the top-left corner of the device. The rest of the design remains relatively familiar with the frame sandwiched between two glass panels and a glossy finish on the back. As far as we know, the Nova 6 5G will be debuting in grey, purple, and blue hues.

The display itself measures 6.44 inches and produces an FHD resolution at an alleged 90 Hz refresh rate. The pill-shaped cutout houses a twin-selfie-cam setup, which the teaser reveals can shoot 105-degree ultra-wide-angle selfies. Of these two, the primary selfie shooter maxes out at 32-megapixels and is rounded off by a 12-megapixel secondary shooter. Take a closer look at the teaser video and you can make out what appears to be a side-mounted fingerprint reader that will double as the power button.

Huawei Prices in Pakistan

On the back of the Nova 6, you’re looking at a quad-camera setup, which is rumored to feature a Sony-manufactured 60-megapixel primary unit, combined with one 16-megapixel and two 2-megapixel modules. The internals are just as robust as you’d come to expect from a true flagship.

You get Huawei’s proprietary Kirin 990 chip with a 5G modem baked right into it. This chipset will be complemented by 8 GB of RAM and two native storage configurations: 128 GB and 256 GB. Equally impressive is the 4,000 mAh power cell that supports a jaw-dropping 40W fast-charging.

The base variant is expected to retail for CNY 34,999 in China, which roughly comes to 77,000 PKR while the top-tier version will likely sell for CNY 3,799 -- that’s 85,000 PKR at the current exchange rate. We don't know yet if it'll make into Pakistan or not but in case it does, don't forget to check back later.
