A new Honor phone has landed on our shores. The device is actually the Honor X8d that was unveiled in December 2025. It took a while for the company to deploy the handset in Pakistan, but it was certainly worth the wait. This is everything you need to know about Honor X8d.

This is an entry to midrange device, and it holds up pretty well for what it costs. There’s an AMOLED screen on top. The refresh rate is 120Hz, and the screen resolution is 1080p FHD+ on a 6.77” display size. There are thin, uniform bezels around the AMOLED. The screen hides an optical fingerprint ID.

The display quality is unobjectionable. But what about the camera? As it turns out, the Honor new 4G mobile uses a 108MP main shooter with OIS. And the setup includes a 5MP ultrawide camera as well. Then comes the selfie unit, which is a 16MP sensor in a crop-out.

This newcomer has a Snapdragon 6S 4G Gen 2 chip doing the heavy lifting. It’s a Snapdragon 685 adjacent chip, by the way. So you can expect entry-level performance here. There’s 8GB RAM and 256GB storage as well. Honor X8d is definitely not meant for gamers.

All the hardware is encased in a plastic shell, though it is only 7.5mm thick. They’ve secured an IP65 rating for it, so it keeps the liquid spills at bay. This kind of thin chassis usually limits the battery capacity. But not in this case. Honor X8d fits a 7000mAh Si/C cell.

A 7,000 mAh capacity is hard to come by at this price point in Pakistan. The Honor X8d will attract many buyers. The handset will let you expand its storage with an SD card. By the way, this device boots to the older Android 15 x Magic OS 10 system out of the box.

There’s only a single speaker here. And it doesn’t have a 3.5mm Audio jack either. Honor X8d plugs into a 45W charger for quick refills. It also has dual-band WiFi. One of the caveats of a low-end chip is limited 1080p 30FPS video recording. Despite a few cons, the phone’s price is really competitive. Honor X8d (8/256GB) only costs Rs 69,999 in Pakistan.
