The price tag is missing from the product page, but Honor X8d has been listed on a local retail store in Kyrgyzstan. All of its specs are revealed there. We have a brand new Qualcomm chip running on this phone. Plus, the listing has some images that reveal Honor X8d’s design before the official global announcement.

There are at least three color choices here: blue, grey, and black. It can be bought with either 128GB or 256GB of storage. They both have 8GB RAM, by the way. It’s pretty much an entry-level handset with some semi-midrange features thrown in.
The chipset is the key ingredient here. Honor X8d runs all your tasks on a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2, which is a 4G-only chip. And it has a 2.9GHz maximum clock speed. This SoC is pretty new, so there’s not a lot of information out there, and certainly not enough benchmarks to assess its performance.

It may just be a rehashed Snapdragon 685. This is the first Honor new 4G mobile to use this chip. If you are curious about the 6s 4G Gen 2, be patient until the phone reaches reviewers and customers. There are some great specs here, beyond just the chip.
Honor X8d plugs into a 45W fast charging kit. This helps recharge a massive 7000mAh battery inside this device. It will probably run for two full days without needing a charger. This cell size is becoming common on Chinese phones.
Even more impressive than its battery is the thickness. The phone is just 7.5mm and 188 grams. The listing doesn’t mention it, but it must be using a Si/C cell. The newcomer is officially certified IP65. Also, the screen on Honor X8d is 6.77” FHD+ AMOLED.

There are only two cameras on the back, and the primary one is 108MP. The second one is unspecified 5MP. A 16MP selfie shooter lies on the screen’s punch hole. The listing says Magic OS 10 is available on Honor X8d, so we assume it’s running Android 16.
