The Win series will launch in China tomorrow, December 26th. At least three devices have been confirmed to be a part of this lineup. Right at the end, the rumor mill has managed to expose the camera specs on both Honor Win and Win RT. These are gaming phones, so we didn’t expect their cameras to be this good. Here’s what the leak showed.

Panda is Bald has put the last-minute leak on Weibo. The Honor Win and Win RT both apparently have 50MP main Sony LYT-700 sensors. And there’s a second lens right next to it on this Win duo: a 12MP ultrawide that could go all the way down to 0.6x focal length.
Even their selfie cameras match. These newcomers both have 50MP front sensors. So far, these two phones are mimicking each other, but there’s one difference. Only the standard Honor Win has a 50MP telephoto (Sony IMX856) that can optically zoom to 3X.

Honor Win and Win RT aren’t that different in other categories. There’s apparently a dual speaker setup on both handsets. And let’s not forget the ultrasonic fingerprint readers on the screen. Honor always champions the eye protection features in its class. These phones have 5920Hz PWM dimming.
By the way, these phones are wider than usual. The Win and Win RT are supposed to measure 76.6mm in width, so the screen fits more content in the horizontal state. Honor hasn’t revealed it officially, but leaks have already given away the 6.83” OLED on both these newcomers.

It’s a 1.5K resolution display with a 185Hz refresh rate, never seen before on a phone. They trim the bezels down to just 1.4mm. These are proper flagship devices. Honor Win will carry a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and the Win RT could use a Snapdragon 8 Elite.
These chipsets need dedicated cooling, and the Honor Win series has that in spades. We learned that all three devices have active cooling fans inside them for thermal management. A 10,000mAh battery lies inside the Honor Win. A 100W charger is there for backup. We are sure the remaining specs will be revealed when these phones are unveiled tomorrow.
