Honor 30 Lite Appears in Early Renders Published in an Updated TENNA Listing as Honor AQM-AL10

Another Honor 30 edition popped up last week on TENNA’s database bearing the model number AQM-AL10. The listing initially only pointed out a few key specifications, but it has now been updated to include the phone’s renders, hinting that the phone might carry the ‘Lite’ moniker which also means a lesser Huawei price tag. Here’s everything we know so far about this alleged Honor 30 Lite.

As seen in the Honor 30 Lite images accompanying the listing, the phone’s 6.3-inch OLED display will feature a drop notch extending into it and produces an FHD+ resolution. The already leaked specs already confirm that the front-facing camera will have a 16MP sensor behind it.

The bezels aren’t easy to make out, but the entire 30 lite build has soft rounding and the back panel sports chamfered smooth edges and a lengthened rectangular bump that houses its triple-camera. It’ll come in at least two colors: black and green.

For the Honor 30 lite design, you get an iridescent, almost multi-hued design with Honor’s branding in the middle. There’s no physical fingerprint scanner to be seen, which probably means that Honor has tucked it under the display — the listing also confirms this feature. The build will have the dimensions of 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.75mm, and it’ll weigh 163g.

The primary camera on the lite variant mentioned above is a 48MP shooter, combined with an 8MP module (most likely a wide-angle unit), and a 2MP lens.

Now for the Honor 30 lite performance. The phone rocks an octa-core processor clocked at 2.27 GHz that is built-into what speculation suggests to be a Kirin 810 platform. Honor has combined this hardware with two memory configurations: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.

It also allows for storage expandability up to 256GB. The internals are powered by a 3,900 mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging and an Android Pie (9.0) OS — which isn’t something you’d expect from a 2020 sub-flagship.

There is no official word on the Honor 30 Lite availability yet so we'll have to wait and see how Huawei prices the new handset. As far as the rumors are concerned, the phone is expected to go official in April with carrying an estimated price of anywhere around 39,000 to 45,000 PKR.
